Syrissa is a multi-disiplinary healer, ceremonialist, doctoral student of clinical acupuncture and traditional Chinese herbal medicine, and an innate seeker at heart. Food has always been her therapy and favorite artform- dancing in the kitchen and singing one’s heart into every dish. As an herbalist she has had the honor of helping open some of the first Botanical Bars in Manhatten with The Assemblage NYC through Ambrosia Elixirs. She has curated elixir bar programs for retreat spaces in Hawaii, holds space for integration circles/retreats and is a novice farmer who grows food and medicines to serve her community. Her mission is bridging the gap between ancient wisdom and modern technology. While she spends her time in clinical observations these days, she has also traveled to various countries to study with elders from indigenous communities and continues her dietas for self growth and expansion in this chaotic world. She finds that music and ceremony can be infused in everyday tasks when we shift our perspective and remember that life is sacred.

I was in college, in pain and miserable. My long held dream of medical school to deliver babies was crumbling as I realized hospitals were not a conducive environment for birth or healing. My own health frustrations made me turn to alternative practices and herbal allies to heal my chronic conditions. Over time, my personal prosperous practice evolved into a steadfast commitment and joy in helping others heal holistically. Just as others helped me, it is an honor to illuminate another soul into their truth. I have witnessed the profound transformations that occur when we align ourselves with the universe’s innate intelligence while releasing any expectation and having the willingness to go inward with acceptance.
Re-Birth is a sacred rite we may claim at our own will… doing the inner work is important, then learning how to live in that embodied truth is the true path - that’s the ‘work’ …and we get to learn this through our personal and collective interactions.

Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine
As of Fall 2023, Syrissa has begun her initiation for a Doctorate of Clinical Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. This is a modality that has helped her tremendously throughout her journey and it is exciting to offer this service as well. As of now, we are treating patients at our Waimea, Big Island Student Clinic and accept Kaiser Insurance. Please contact to set up an appointment.
This modality is a fabulous way of grounding all of the esoteric and herbal studies into a structured health care providing path which understands the Emperor to be one’s Heart & Music as Medicine.
